Easter

OK so I know this post is a little late but I'm trying to do some catch up. This Easter was in my opinion one of the best we've had. We took a little bit more time remembering the meaning this year and I think it really sank in with the kids.

Principle's award and battle of the books.

I am so proud of Kaleb and Riley they are such good kids. Riley and kaleb both got a principle award this year at school. This year kaleb decided to participate in the battle of the book's and his team came in third and did a wonderful job. I love my children.

BASEBALL!

I love baseball season the fresh cut grass the warmish weather and the kids having lost of fun. Here are some pictures of Kaleb's baseball tournament in Yakima and Riley's first coach pitch game.

Hair cuts and locks of love

This morning I went to brush Bella's hair and she was crying even before I touched it so I decided that she was going to get her first ever hair cut today. She was not happy so the crying started again until we told her about locks of love and she really liked the idea that her hair could be used to give someone else a chance to have hair. We went to the kids cuts by our house and when the lady showed us how short it was going to be I got knots in my stomach but we picked a style and went through with it. Riley being the good big sister that she is told Izzy that if she got her hair cut Riley would cut her hair too. I am so proud of Bella and the good thing that she did today.

First Day Of School !

I know I know it has been FOREVER since I have posted something. It's not that I haven't had anything to post lets face it I'm just being Lazy. So the kids started school last week (i know I'm way behind)and they are loving it Kaleb is now in the fourth grade (wow I'm getting old!), Riley stated first grade (yes all day!) , and my sweet little Izabella is doing preschool two days a week. So far none of them have come home complaining so that a plus. Hopefully it stays like that for the rest of the year.

I got this idea form a blog that I found called inspired crafts so if you want instructions there is a link on my blog. I really like how these turned out except for the S. I wish I would have thought to use a darker background paper because you can't see it that well.

Time sure flys. It seems like only yesterday that I was trying to push the little sucker out. She has gotten so big I cant believe it. Happy 1st birthday Morgan I love you with all my heart.

Week 4

I bought these raw blocks back when we lived in Arizona and always had planed to do this to them but just never had the time. I finally made time and I really liked how they turned out.

Yes I know i am sooo far behind been really busy but here it is. I did these four busy books for the kids to use in church.

Week 2

Week #1

So we have started our challenge again. I'm only like 7 weeks behind but hopefully I can catch up. I like this lay out but I feel like something is missing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Today is suppposed to be Riley's first day of school.

So at about 7 pm last night I (Haley) was in the kitchen cleaning and the kids were in the living room playing karate and Riley asked Kaleb to teach her some tricks and all of the sudden I hear the loudest scream I have ever heard Riley do. Kaleb had jumped up to do a trick and landed on Riley's right leg. We took Riley to the E.R. and she has a broken tibia. The whole time the only thing Riley was worried about was her first day of school it was so sad to see her when we told her she wasn't going to be able to go. Today we are taking her to a orthopedic doctor and she will get a cast on.

4 Months old!

Time sure fly's when you have kids. I cant believe that my baby is already 4 months old. Here is a little up date on Morgan. I just took her to the doctor on the 4th and she is 16 lbs and 26.5 inches long I think we are going to have a tall girl on our hands. She is already rolling over and babbles like crazy.

Living Room Camping.

For Labor day weekend we were supposed to go camping with our neighbors but it didn't happen because it rained the whole weekend. So the kids were bummed so Kaleb went to spend the night at papas house on Friday and the girls, daddy, and myself went living room camping. (who doesn't love sleeping on the hard ground to make you kids happy)
