Proud Parents

For the most part our children always make us proud. But this last week reminded me of how smart and talented my children are to me. Last Thursday Riley was so excited because she learned how to tie her shoes. She was going around showing everyone what she can do. It only took her about four times to get the hang of it. Smart girl. Kaleb received an award from his teacher in a school Assembly last week for academic achievement we were so proud of him he is doing so well in his school work . I just went to a parent teacher conference and his teacher said he was reading at a fourth grade reading level.

My New Hair Do!!

I took Riley to get her hair cut on the 11th and to my surprise she wasn't kicking and screaming(she doesn't like getting her hair cut). I was kind of hesitant because her hair was so long and beautiful but I was sick of her crying every time I brushed it because it was tangled. She ended up not picking a style like I wanted her to (oh well). She just wanted it cut to her shoulders which is fine with me. She looks a lot more grown up with this cut. She's getting way to big.

First Day of School Week # 9

This weeks challenge was first day of school so I decided to do Kaleb's first day of preschool. Megs can't wait to see what the theme is for next week.

My First Hair Cut Week # 8

I know usually the after picture should look better than the before but not in this case. This was Riley's first hair cut and her brother decided to do it (lucky us). Let's just say that in the end she ended up with Minnie bangs and a mullet(I was not happy).
