NOT AGAIN!!!!!

I'm sure you all know the story about how kyle hurt his knee the first time he came up to Washington to start work. Well surprise it happened again yesterday. He was playing baseball with his work team and he went to round 1st base to go to second and stopped really fast and his knee went POP! We went to the doctor today and they said he has to go back on Monday for and MRI the doctor said he thinks he either tore his meniscus or his ATL. It was really gross because I was sitting their watching the doctor put a huge needle into his kneecap and pull out 60 cc's of blood (not good).I'll update on Monday after the doctor.

Day and Night! Wow!

Almost ready for siding!

That light is really bright! Good for security, bad for sleep!

Main lines for water Hot/Cold! This is so beautiful!

Auto washer connections! Another one of the beautiful plumbing creations! Whoever did this was good! (It wasn't me!)

The kids tub! Big enough for even me! Freshly pissed in by our lovely Mexican friends up here!

Dual shower heads! Sweet! Our valves have seperate pressure and temperature arms that allow you to set the temperature where you want it, then when you wake up all you have to do is turn on the water! It will be set to the same temp every day!
--Disclaimer-- Although there are two shower heads only one person will use it at a time! (sickos!) I will be installing a circulation pump on the hot side of the water so when you turn on the hot it will be instant hot water! No waiting for five minutes for hot water!

The white wrap on the house is to prevent moisture from coming in contact with the wood framing. It works very well at keeping it in too! The heating guys were completing their duties today, and so now it is really moving! Next week should consist of siding, electricity, and more grading of the outside. Things are going well!

Hard Work!

Big Sexy!

Abi

Richard (Dick)

Every one is tired after 15 hours of work!

The house is plumbed and ready for inspection! It was a ton of work to be completed that fast, but there was only one leak on the piping when we pressurized the house. Richard is a fairly new plumber, but is great at running water. Abi has 6 years experience doing rough in plumbing. I felt more like an apprentice this weekend but it was fun. We worked a full normal work day on Friday (6 a.m to 3 p.m.) then from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday we started the house. On Saturday we were there from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. We were spent, and it showed. Glad to be done, and it looks picture perfect!

Happy Wife, Happy Life!

My wife is spoiled! I went to garage sales this past Saturday, and ran into a lady selling stamp it up crap. I didn't buy anything when I was there, boy was that a mistake! I was sitting at home and Haley called me and did her little spoiled voice, asking why I didn't buy any? I told her she didn't need it, but she convinced me that I should get her some or I was dead! So I went back hoping that they were still out, and of course they were. I asked the lady how much she was trying to sell, and she went into the house and brought out three bags worth. Surrounded by women encouraging me that my wife needed all of them, I asked how much for everything? She first said $100.00 but I told her no that is too much, so she lowered it to $75.00 and I took the deal. I know what most of you are thinking, why spend that much on stamp crap? I felt the same way after I purchased it. When I got home I told Haley about it and so we went through her pricing books. Come to find out that all the stamps I purchased were around $450.00 originally. With all but a few being brand new I was much happier knowing we got a great deal, and my wife was really HAPPY! (You know what that means!)

Raise the Roof!

The framing is complete! On Friday (05/16/08) the windows and shingles will be put on. On Saturday and Sunday I will be plumbing the house. By the end of next week all the siding should be on and the inside will start to be put together!

I made these for all my mothers for mothers day and I was very happy with the way they turned out.

Sleeping Booty

I came out from putting the other kids down from a nap yesterday and this is what I found. I couldn't help not posting it.

Here is an update on the house. They put all of the roof trusts on today. The framing will be done on Tuesday, but it has to sit for two days before the inspection. Everything is on schedule for me to plumb it next weekend. The bottom picture is of our second story. I stood in Riley's closet and took a picture the best I could. To the left is our master closet, then behind that is our master bedroom. The furthest point of the picture is our master bath. Just to the left of the stairs is the loft then the doorway just past the stairs is our 4th bedroom. The 4th bedroom is going to be the kids play room. Look next week for the newest pictures. I will be going back on Wednesday.

School Project

Kaleb had to do a big project for the end of the year and he chose to do it on the great white shark. This diorama was the only part of his big project that he had to do at home we had a lot of fun doing it and I think he did a great job.

Thats some wood!

The top picture was taken at 7 a.m. this morning. I was excited to see the progress of the home so I ran out first thing this morning on the way to my first job. Just before I left the guy building the home said come back later and it will look much different. I went back and took the bottom picture at 5 p.m. today. They were able to complete the whole second floor within that time frame. Tomorrow they should be done with the roof and by the end of next week it will be ready for me to plumb. Below are some other pictures that I took today.

This is a side picture which kind of shows you the size of our back yard.

This is a picture from the front door entry. On the right is the den, straight ahead is the dining area (if we use it for that). Just past the stairs is the family room and to the left of the family room is the kitchen.

Corner picture of the home. Just another view.

San Tan Splash Park !

My sister in law Ami invited me and the girls to go to the splash park today and it was so much fun. Its funny to just sit there and see how kids think its so funny to just stand over the water you cant help but laugh and remember the part on billy Madison were he sits on the sprinkler. Anyway thanks for inviting us we had a blast.

Layin the Lumber!

The construction on our home has begun! They dropped lumber on Monday the 5th and they should have all the parts assembled by Friday. They assemble all the major parts off site them bring them into the site on a huge truck. The truck is equipped with a crane that lifts them into place while the workers attach them to the frame work. We are very excited for our home to be built! It should be fully complete by the last week of July or the first week of August. I will be able to do all the plumbing work in our home so that I can make sure that it is up to snuff! I will upload pictures again tomorrow.

Fun in the Sun !

Yesterday we went to my sister in laws house and let the kids run through the sprinklers. They had so much fun with each other.

Big Girl Bed

I decide to take Bellas crib down the other day and she was so excited about her big girl bed. I was hoping that she would actually sleep in it. She didn't do that well the first couple nights but she is doing so much better now. and

School Carnival

Kaleb had his spring carnival last week and we had so much fun at it. There were games, face painting, hair spraying, (Rileys purple hair) food, and tons of bouncers. The kids loved if and Kaleb won a fish (wohoo).
